Clash Meta for Android

App Download

After logging into your account, go to the menu bar and select “Support” → “Downloads” → “Android Apps” and download “Clash Meta for Android”. Open the .apk file to install.

App Setup

Follow the steps below to load server information. Please ensure you are in an environment with internet access.

1. After downloading the app, log in to your account from the device and select the relevant service under ‘Active Services’

2. On the page displaying data usage, open ‘Android App’ and select ‘One-click Import’ for ‘Clash’

3. Clash Meta will start up and display the profile settings page.

Set your preferred name and the cycle for auto updates (frequency of server information updates) as you like. It is recommended to set “Auto Update” to 720 minutes.

Tap the Save icon in the upper right to load your profile.

How to Use App

ON/OFF Toggle

1. The “Stopped” at the top of the home screen is the switch. After selecting the profile you created from “Profile”, turn on the switch.

2. When you turn on the switch, “Proxy” will appear right below. From there, you can switch servers.

Switch Mode

You can select a server from the proxy and change simple connection rules.

  • PROXIES → Select the server
  • CHINA → Select how to access Chinese IPs. By default, it is set to Direct (does not go through a server).

If you want to change all traffic through a UCSS server, “CHINA” change to “Proxies”. You can also set it as the default by selecting: “Setting” → ”Override” → ”Mode” → ”Global Mode.”

Clash uses a fundamentally different method to measure Ping than most other apps. Clash measures ping through the http header instead of ICMP. This gives in a higher ping value. If you want the more accurate ICMP/TCP measurement, please use a speed test app.

Update Server Information

To update manually, go to “Profile” → click the dot mark next to the profile name → and select “Update” to complete.

Note

  • Server information (including Subscription URL) is a private information. For secure usage, be careful not to upload it on SNS (WeChat, QQ, etc.) or share it with unauthorized third parties. 
  • Contact the developer of a third-party app if there is a problem with it. UCSS shall not be liable for any use of app not developed by UCSS.
  • The local situation in China is under monitoring in real time and UCSS keeps the server information up to date. Check the latest notice at UCSS official Twitter.
