UCSS for Apple (Recommend)

No special settings are required. Simply enter your account login information, and you’ll be ready to use the app immediately.

UCSS for Apple is compatible with macOS M1 and later (Apple Silicon).

App Setup

  1. Log in to your UCSS account from the device where you want to download the app.
  2. Click on “Support” → “Downloads” → “iOS Apps” or “macOS Apps” → “UCSS for Apple” to install the app.
  3. Open the app, enter your UCSS account email address and password, then click “Login.”

Due to Apple’s policy, VPN apps are not available in the App Store in China region. You will need to change your Apple ID’s country or region. Please refer to this link for instructions on how to do so.

How to Use App

1. Toggle On/Off

When you turn on the switch for the first time, you will be asked to allow VPN configuration. Please select “Allow.”

2. Change Mode

You can choose between two modes. For gaming, please use the Global mode.

  • Global → All traffic goes through the server.
  • Smart Routing → Connect to servers by bypassing Chinese IPs.

3. Change Server

You can switch servers and perform connection tests.

4. Settings

You can configure proxy sharing, plan switching, data usage checking, icon changes, and logout options.

The data usage shown in the widget and “Your Services” section is not in real time. Update timing may vary depending on your network conditions. For real-time usage details, please log in to your account and go to the relevant service → “Service Details”.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter connection issues, please try the following:

  1. Unable to connect to the internet: Select “Reset VPN Configuration” from the gear icon in the upper right corner, and then reinstall the VPN configuration.
  2. Unable to access games or certain websites: If you are using the app for gaming, be sure to use the “Global” mode.”
  3. The plan is not displayed: Please try logging out and logging back in.
