Troubleshooting
If you are unable to connect or if the app does not start correctly, please check the following.
- Grant Permissions at First Login: This permission is essential. If it has not been granted, you will need to reinstall the app.
- App Launch Location: Ensure that the UCSS app is not running from a location other than the ‘Applications’ folder. Please move the UCSS app to the ‘Applications’ folder before launching.
- Administrator Rights: Go to ‘System Preferences’ → ‘Privacy & Security’, scroll down to the bottom and click ‘Details…’ → Turn off ‘Require an administrator password to access system-wide settings’. If this is on, you will not be able to start the VPN.
